This was not my first design for the lighting industry (see also Gravani).

The company needed to refresh their visual image in the market, and after several Skype meetings and email exchanges, we agreed that the key starting point was a new visual identity which should be the personal "stamp" of a serious, professional and experienced designer of architectural lighting.

Having already worked on projects in the lighting industry, I knew that visualising the light was difficult because it does not have a specific form. I therefore chose to work with the light effect and the ability of light to form objects.

 

I combined the initial letters from company's name; "t" and "k" in an architectural complex (architects are the main target group) with a ray of artificial spotlight separating them. The typography in the main and vertical versions of the logotype follows the shape of the logo, creating a serious and dynamic triangle with "tk" at the peak.

The result was a clean logotype with a strong "personality", easily recognisable with economical reproduction possibilities in all print media.

 

The client's satisfaction with the overall success of the logotype led to further cooperation on the company's graphic material, including:
